How do I pay the amount if I start the membership?
You can pay cash or cheque to the person the delivering the book/s.You can pay at the library as well.
How do I return the book I have borrowed?
If you reserve your next set of books, you can return the ones you have when the books are delivered to you. If you would like to only return the books and not borrow anything, please call 41102231 or 25501499 during working hours (10 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm - wednesday holiday) or send an email to help.easylib@gmail.com
How do I renew a book
Call the library at 41102231 with the book details. You will pay 1% of the book value extra per day for renewal up to 10 days. If you renew for 10 to 14 extra days, you will pay 10% of the book value more. You can not renew for more than 30 days.
How do I pay?
You can pay by cash or cheque or transfer the amount to our ICICI bank account (please send an email to help@easylib.com to get the bank details.)
Do I have to come to the library to start the membership?
No. You can make the initial payment and all the subsequent payments to the person who brings you books. He will always be our trusted staff.
How are my books delivered?
By EasyLib personnel at the address specified by you.
How do I return my books?
You can reserve your next set of books online. Then we will deliver the books you have reserved and collect the books you have finished reading. In case you do not want to borrow any books but wish to only return the ones you have, please give us a call or send us an email.
For how long can I keep my books?
You can keep your books for upto 14 days without late fees. After 14 days, you need to renew books if you wish you keep them for a longer duration. You cannot keep the books for more than a month, unless you take consent from the librarian. If the book you have borrowed is marked a one week rental, you have to return it in a week’s time.
How do I renew a book?
Give us a call or send us an email after fourteen days. We will not automatically pickup books after two weeks. Books marked one week rentals cannot be renewed. Books recalled cannot be renewed.
When do you recall books?
If there is someone on the waitlist for the book you have, we will recall the book. You are entitled to return it within two days of the recall notice. We recall only if you have kept the book for two weeks. We will recall after one week, if the book is a one week rental.
Is there a late fee?
In the flexi plan, there is an extra fee after two weeks. In the flat fee plans, there will be an extra fee if the books are unreturned or not renewed after a month. When a book is recalled, it needs to be returned within two days of the recall notice.
